STORE MANAGER

Responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day operations of the location, as well as for sales support and sales growth\nDuties:\n• Sales support and “bottom-line” profits of the location – this role should strive continually to increase store sales and profits\n• Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline employees\n• Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures\n• Ensure compliance with all safety legislation\n• Promote, encourage, possess, and maintain personal “ownership mentality”\n• Encourage employees to take ownership for their performance and career development plans; follow up on a regular, scheduled basis\n• Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning\n• Develop and implement employee performance evaluations and personal improvement plans\n• Effectively manage employee turnover by collaborating with the Human Resources department on staffing needs, hiring, appreciation and retention planning, etc. Provide a positive working environment and handle employee concerns appropriately and in a timely manner\n• Provide exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships; ensure that employees also provide the same level of service by “leading by example”\n• Resolve customer problems or complaints by determining optimal solutions\n• Ensure property and equipment is maintained and safe; handle repair and/or replacement as necessary \n• Conduct regular location meetings and turn in required paperwork to the corporate office\n• Manage location revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation, and delivery of deposits to the bank\n• Maintain inventory processes and procedures\n• Management of all location operational issues including housekeeping, administrative duties, physical inventories, etc\n• Others duties as seen necessary by the Corporate team\n• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice\n\nMinimum Job Requirements\n• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader/manager with a proven track record of success\n• Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication, and organizational skills\n• Ability and willingness to promote the organization locally through community involvement and social networking \n• Effective verbal communication and other job-related personal behaviors and skills\n• Upbeat demeanor with a sales-oriented personality\n• Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a frequently basis\n• Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather and potential exposure to normal chemical irritants found in a mechanical shop, as well as dust and normal household and industrial cleaning solutions\nThis position normally works Monday – Friday, 730am – 530pm, and some Saturdays; additional hours may be required to accommodate customer needs, seasonal activity, and/or special events.
