The Safety Manager is responsible for championing a safety culture and enforcing safety policies within the company's facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of every employee.\n\nJob Duties:\n⢠Develop, implement, and promote organizational safety programs for all company locations Ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations while championing a safety culture\n⢠Develop and deliver safety training, awareness and CDL driver programs\n⢠Oversee the accident and injury prevention, recordkeeping, and reporting with local healthcare providers (Sanford), State and private Insurance providers (WSI, Federated etc.) and other regulatory agencies (OSHA, FMSCA, DOT etc.)\n⢠Develop inspection checklists, investigate accidents, identify hazardous conditions, and take necessary corrective action\n⢠Conduct regular safety audits for all locations and collaborate with other departments to coordinate and review safety procedures\n⢠Research and develop health and safety initiatives and programs along with working to secure grant funding from various sources that we can utilize\n⢠Drive operational improvement through the use of KPIâs and reporting to site GMâs and leadership
